Eat, play and be healthy.
Earlier children used to wait after finishing their homework to play out in the evenings. Going to parks on weekends was something they desperately wanted after a tiring week of school and studies. Unlike earlier generations, electronic gadgets have made their way into the lives of children now. They avoid outdoor games and instead play games on mobile or computer. Beside stress due to studies this lack of physical activity has begun taking toll on health of these children. Not only obesity but other associated problems like diabetes, thyroid, PCOD etc. have become very common. It is very important to keep a check on their eating habits and activity levels.
Child development and nutrition go hand in hand. After all a healthy kid grow into a healthy adult. Hence is the saying “Precaution is always better than cure“.
